Projects

The following is a list of current and past Rennprojekts.

1967 Porsche 911S"L"
The current project that is being documented on the Home page. When completed, photos and details will be posted here.

1957 Porsche 356
Built for vintage racing with a 1600cc racing engine with period 32mm Zenith carbs, close ratio transmission and vented drum brakes. The body is fitted with a lightweight interior and windows.

This car has been very successful with a number of class victories. Some of the highlights include winning the 2006 FP1 Class Championship with the Vintage Auto Racing Association, being accepted and competing at the Coronado Speed Festival, and winning "1st in Class" at the Porsche 356 Clubs Concours D'Elegance in Dana Point.

1970 Porsche 914
Not built by Rennprojekt, but I've assisted in many aspects of the resurrection/restoration. The car has a long racing history dating back to the early '70s, racing in the SCCA Pacific Region.

The car is now campaigned at a variety of vintage races and is a definite D Production contender.

This is the car today, restored back to its original livery and condition with only minor changes to the roll cage at the desire of the current owner.

Competing at the Rennsport Reunion IV at Laguna Seca.

This was the car when found. Underneath that paint was the evidence of the original burgundy paint and number panels, or "meatballs".

Progress being made on the various systems.
